Nominations are requested from the Houston Telugu Cultural Association members to elect the office bearers of its Executive Committee for the year 2009 and one trustee to the Board of Trustees.
- The TCA Executive Committee consists of seven Members, including atleast two female members. The Executive Committee members will in turn elect the TCA President, Treasurer & other positions amongst themselves at a separate meeting after the elections.
- Board of Trustees: 1 Position (3 Year Term). One member will be elected to the Board of Trustees.
- A Contestant must be either a Life Member, or an Annual member (Year 2009-2010) of the TCA. TCA will hold elections for these positions at the General Body Meeting to be held on January 23, 2010 along with its Sankranti celebrations.
- All nominations must be proposed by one TCA Life or Annual member and seconded by another TCA Life or Annual member.
- Please send nominations with name, contact information along with Proposer/Seconder names to the Election Commission below by e-mail or hand delivery by meeting any one of them.
- Last date for receiving nominations is January 09, 2010. Late nominations may be accepted at the discretion of the Chairperson of the General Body Meeting.
- All contestants and nominations should be sent to the TCA Election Commission at election@teluguhouston.org
- The Election Commission for this year consists of Sri Rahul Reddy, Sri Kishore Dannapaneni and Smt Sangita Vennelakanti.
